The myth that I presented concerned the naming of the city of Athens. In it, Zeus declares that a new city has been found that will be the greatest city of all time. Poseidon, Zeus' brother, and Athena, Zeus' daughter, both claim that they deserve to be the gods of this city. Zeus decides that whoever produces the best gift for the people living in the city will deserve the city. Zeus declares Athena's olive tree, which represented peace and wisdom, the winner over Poseidon's warhorse, which he claims will make the people the mightiest and most feared warriors. 

This myth answers the question of how Athens got its name. The moral of this story is that it is better to be respected for your peaceful nature and wisdom than for your battle prowess or military power. This is shown through Zeus' choice of Athena's olive tree over Poseidon's warhorse. One should learn from this myth the value of peace and wisdom over war and violence. Poseidon's warhorse symbolizes violence and war, while Athena's olive tree represents peace and wisdom. This myth shows a case of peace prevailing over war.
